Woollahra Council invites suitably qualified parties to tender for the bulk earthworks, retaining wall construction, drainage and footpath reconstruction and associated landscaping works to establish an overland flowpath at the end of Cecil Lane & Roylston Street into Trumper Park Oval, Paddington.
A Pre-Tender Meeting will be held at Woollahra Council Chambers at 10am Wednesday, 15 February 2012. Proceedings of the meeting will be circulated only to those who attend or register for the tender.
The works to be undertaken in this contract are described in the Tender Document which can be downloaded at no charge from www.woollahra.nsw.gov.au - under Council tab and then 'Tenders & Purchasing'. Hard copies are available from Council's Customer Service Area for $300.
All interested tenderers must register their phone, fax and email details at records@woollahra.nsw.gov.au prior to the pre-tender meeting.
Tenders must be placed in a sealed envelope marked 'Cecil Lane/Trumper Park Oval, Paddington - Overland Flowpath Works-Stage 1 - Tender 12/02' and lodged by 2.30pm Thursday, 23 February 2012 in the Tender Box at the Customer Service Area of the Council, 536 New South Head Road, Double Bay between the hours of 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
Costs incurred in preparing tenders will not be reimbursed. Tenders will be evaluated on the selection criteria detailed in the tender documentation. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
