Product Description
Vonwood Formwork Birch is a phenolic film faced plywood with phenolic resin glue for use in concrete formwork where extremely strict demands are set on concrete surface, loading capacity and the number of reuses.
Base board
Birch is the only raw material used to make Vonwood Formwork Birch plywood, all birch veneers are bonded together perpendicular to adjacent plies.
Bonding
Cross-bonded plies using phenolic resin glue achieve EN 314-2 Class 3: Exterior conditions (designed for exposure to weather over sustained periods)
Surface and edges
Face and back: Dark brown or black phenolic film 165G/M2 or 220G/M2.
Edge sealing: Water resistant paint.
Reuses
Typical number of reuses is likely to be in the range of 40 - 60 times. However, this will vary according to many different factors including good site practice, required concrete finish, amount of care taken when compacting the concrete, handling and storage of the forms, type and quality of release agent.
